I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first about trusting a trailer with all my belongings and having it shipped across state lines. The idea of sending everything I own without personally driving it felt risky. However, a close friend had a great experience with U-Pack, so I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did. From the very beginning, the service was excellent. The U-Pack team clearly explained their entire process, step by step, and answered all of my questions in detail. They were professional, timely, and consistent in their communication. Once the trailer was delivered to us, they kept in regular contact to ensure that we understood each part of the process, especially regarding the timeline for delivery. I was told it would take about nine days for the trailer to travel from New Jersey to Florida, since different carriers would be handling the container along the route. I planned accordingly, expecting the shipment to arrive after we got to Florida. To my surprise, it arrived before we even did! But here’s what really impressed me—they safely stored our belongings and waited for our call to schedule the final delivery. Once we were ready, everything was delivered on the exact day we requested. The pickup afterward was just as seamless. The staff were friendly, respectful, and upfront—no hidden fees, no surprises, no fine print. If you’re planning a long-distance move and don’t want the stress of hiring full-service movers or doing all the driving yourself, I highly recommend U-Pack. This is the second time I have used U-Pack to move over 2000 miles and could not be more pleased. Very helpful people, quick to respond, and as I am 75 years young, I was very glad to have the phone calls and the web site to keep me informed. Highly recommend !U-Pack

I decided to go with UPack to make my 1900 mile move from California to Pennsylvania after checking in to broker movers and driving myself cross country because I didn't like the way brokers required a deposit and only give you a 3 day right to cancel ...then you are out your deposit before any work has been performed or any other problems that can arise. It was not cost efficient to move myself either. I liked how UPack allows you to load your own furnishings because I did it my way and nothing got broken. I actually packed in more within my linear footage than the other companies that wanted to charge me by the weight ......only giving my a low weight limit and wanting to charge me much more if I went over that weight. UPack used Old Dominion as the Carrier to transport my move and I was very pleased with their ness and very nice. I couldn't beat the cost anywhere nor the service from both UPack and Old Dominion. We are so grateful that everything went so well....as scheduled....and very convenient. We were called and updated on the whereabouts of our move along the way, and delivered right to our door. The drivers were very nice and very helpful as well. I hope everyone reads this and chooses UPack/Old Dominion if they need to move cross country because all the stress of deciding how to move turned out to be very pleasant with these companies. We are soooo pleased!!U-Pack

Easy and faster than expected. Moved 900 miles from Florida to Virginia. They were the least expensive for the long move and even though they gave themselves a rather large window for delivery, they delivered faster than the minimum time they planned. Definitely will use again.U-Pack

Moved from Houston, Tx to West Nc with two homes in a 28 foot trailer. Fair price plus $400 for 2 guys help for load and unload, ramp and cart included with the trailer, which was delivered in 3/4 days. Very satisfied.U-Pack

U-pack’s dispatch was great as far as handling calls and keeping us updated. The only issue we came across was being overcharged when my invoice each time did not match what was charged. I was overcharged $376. It only got fixed because I called to see why. They had said I was over by 2 feet, once they called old dominion for verification, they were wrong and had to reimburse. Make sure to measure before you load ! Other than that, the use of this service was not a bad experience!U-Pack

I have now used U-Pack 3 times for cross country moving between NC and NV and all have gone great. Most recently, Kevin helped with the initial booking and later unexpected need for us to load another partial truck last minute. Always there to help or quickly calling me back if on another call. All went great with both trucks. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Initially I got a couple other quotes online but good reviews were not easily found or any of them. So I went on my own prior experience. They were very helpful in a potentially stressful situation. Zero stress from U-Pack. I will continue to highly recommend U-Pack.U-Pack

Horrifying company. They dropped off the unit to my house. I hired people to move the stuff into the truck for me. U-Pack guaranteed that they picked up the unit on 12/22/24. Find out twelve days later that they never picked up the unit. My stuff was promised to be at my destination by 1/6/25. I call and they say they can’t do that and they’re unsure why it hasn’t been picked up yet. Do not waste your time or money on this unreliable and super unprofessional company.U-Pack
