This solicitor is relentlessly contacting us on a daily basis. They call daily and email frequently. We have informed them that we do not need their services at all. We have communicated this a number of times and have asked them to stop calling us. We have a fast paced business that is very demanding on the employees. To have to field a call when busy by a company that has become nothing but a nuisance is quite irritating. If there ever arose an opportunity where we could possibly need their service, I can assure you that it would be anyone but them at this point. We want the calls and emails to stop.

This company repeatedly calls my business. We have been requesting for years to be put on their DO NOT CALL list. I have been told that they do not have a way to do that and they will keep calling. We have no interest in using their services and have told them that every single time. Yet they still call us and sometimes multiple calls a week.

Sometime in January I received a call from a sales person at TQL logistics, I believe it was January 17, 2025 (early morning). I explained that I no longer wanted to be contacted in the future. and the previous call I received from them I asked the same thing, except this time I explained if they called me again I would file a complaint against them. I was not interested in using their services. I used their service once in May of 2020. I asked not to be called in the future. They informed me that it was impossible for them to remove me from their call list. They said the best thing they can do is put a do not call hold for a period of 3 months. After the 3 months is up, they would starting contacting again. They will not stop calling our business and emailing our business for work (not just me but also other staff) despite me requesting this. I have an email from January 17th confirming they are putting me on a do not call list and it would be active for three months. On January 28th I received an general marketing email thanking businesses for their support in helping them in their corporate responsibility. Since then, starting April 22, 2025 I was contacted by email asking for work, then again on May 1, 2025. I have received spam phone calls from them that I have not answered. There doesn't seem to be a way to get them to stop contacting me or my business. I am forced to contact them to keep putting me on a do not call list at their company. There should be a way to be removed. It's a form of harassment. I feel this must violate some sort of solicitation rules.

This company constantly contacts us despite being told no. We have asked to be removed from their calling list multiple times, only to have another pushy sales guy call a couple of weeks later. This process repeats itself every time. We are tired of being harassed, we are not interested in their services.

Total Quality calls repeatedly, despite being told every time that we are not going to do business with them and to take us off their calling list. They will sometimes say they can begin that process, but then try to start selling us services again and never remove our information. Every time it is a new "broker", so they are obviously giving our number out over and over again. It's to the point that it can no longer be considered soliciting business, but has escalated to the point of harassment. All we want is for this horrible company to stop contacting us.

It is incredibly frustrating to run a business efficiently when being repeatedly interrupted by unwanted sales calls—especially after making multiple formal requests to be removed from a company’s call list. Unfortunately, Total Quality Logistics (TQL) has ignored these requests for years, continuing to call our company daily. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this directly with TQL, including explicit requests to stop calling, they persist. This pattern of behavior suggests a disregard for basic business courtesy and compliance with do-not-call requests. Their aggressive sales tactics disrupt daily operations and waste valuable time. We are formally requesting that TQL immediately remove our company from all contact lists and cease all further communications. If TQL does not comply, we will explore additional avenues to ensure our requests are honored. This kind of relentless cold-calling is not just an inconvenience—it is unprofessional and unacceptable. We expect a resolution and confirmation that our company will no longer be contacted.

This complaint concerns TQL’s failure to resolve a $17,518 freight claim for cargo delivered damaged and now missing, due to driver negligence. Despite 120+ days since the claim was filed, TQL has been unresponsive, failed to provide claim updates, and has refused to produce the insurance policy declaration page for the $32,000 insurance coverage purchased with the shipment. Additionally, the merchandise is now missing—neither the shipper nor the buyer has received it. Incident Details: Shipment Details: Freight handled by TQL under PO ******** | PRO *********. Nature of Damage: Cargo (stone slabs) arrived tipped over and broken due to failure to use required side straps and potential unauthorized modification of the crate. Delivery Rejection: The recipient rejected the freight as the slabs were visibly damaged upon arrival. The driver refused to allow an inspection before requiring acceptance, violating standard delivery protocols. Evidence: A video shows the crate improperly secured inside the truck, confirming that the slabs broke during transit due to negligence. Tracking Irregularities: The trailer number changed multiple times, indicating potential mishandling and unauthorized repacking. The freight was transferred to a smaller truck, possibly causing additional damage. Missing Cargo & Unaccounted Freight: Neither the shipper nor the buyer has received the cargo. The rejected freight was supposed to be returned or redirected, yet TQL has failed to provide any proof of its current location. No tracking updates exist for the rejected shipment’s final disposition. The freight appears to have been lost, stolen, or otherwise mishandled under TQL’s supervision. TQL has refused to clarify whether the carrier still has possession or if the cargo has been disposed of without authorization.

Hello ******, we have spoken with our internal departments regarding this claim. The carrier, ******, is delayed in coming to a determination of the claim. Our claims department has been reaching out to them consistently for updates and not heard back. ****** would be the one responsible for paying claim, not TQL, according to the contract. Date: 03/19/2025

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

TQL’s response is unacceptable and misleading regarding the resolution of this claim. The facts remain:
TQL Was the Direct Contracting Party:
My contract was directly with TQL for freight booking and insurance coverage.
TQL received payment for an increased premium to insure the merchandise, guaranteeing a minimum coverage amount.
      Failure to Provide Insurance Documentation:
Despite repeated written requests, TQL has failed to provide the insurance policy declaration page or any documentation proving the actual coverage purchased.
TQL has not confirmed if the claim was even filed with the insurer or if the policy terms have been upheld.
Failure to Provide Carrier Contact & Updates:
TQL has not provided any direct contact information for ******, preventing direct claim follow-up.
No documentation has been shared confirming any efforts by TQL to communicate with ****** or escalate the matter.
It has been over 120 days, and the package is now completely lost with no accountability from TQL or ******.
Loss of Cargo Due to TQL’s Negligence:
The shipment is lost and neither the shipper nor recipient has received it.
TQL has failed to track or account for the missing freight, violating basic transportation industry obligations.
      Formal Request for Resolution:
TQL must provide proof of the purchased insurance coverage, including the policy declaration page.
TQL must provide direct carrier contact details for ****** and written updates on all communications.
TQL must take full responsibility for resolving this claim, including reimbursement for the full insured value of $32,000, given that they accepted payment for insurance coverage.
TQL cannot simply defer blame to the carrier while failing to meet its contractual obligations. If this matter remains unresolved, we will escalate the complaint to the **** Attorney General, the **** Department of Insurance, and pursue legal action for breach of contract, failure to provide insurance coverage, and loss of property.
We expect a response with the requested documentation and resolution plan within 5 business days.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/18/2025

Hello ******, because you did not purchase ******* on this shipment, TQL is not able to file with insurance. You have the option to pursue the carrier outside of TQL and would likely have a quicker response due to being the cargo owner. TQL has escalated the claim with the carrier, ******, requesting a response as soon as possible.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 04/21/2025

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

TQL’s Response Is Factually Incorrect and Unacceptable
TQL’s latest response is misleading and completely unacceptable. Let me be very clear:
? TQL quoted, charged, and collected payment for insurance on this shipment.
? The insurance was explicitly part of the service package I purchased from TQL.
? I have documentation and billing records proving that insurance coverage was included in the final price.
? At no point during the transaction was I told that I needed to “separately purchase *******” or file a claim independently with the carrier.
Now that the cargo is damaged and missing, TQL is refusing to provide the insurance policy declaration page, denying that coverage existed, and attempting to pass responsibility to me after failing to act for over 120 days.
      Furthermore, TQL has:
-Refused to provide contact information for the carrier (******)
-Failed to deliver any updates or claim documentation
-Offered no explanation as to where the missing cargo is
This is not just a service failure, it reflects a breakdown of trust and potentially deceptive business practices. TQL charged for insurance coverage and is now pretending it was never purchased. That is unacceptable in any industry—especially in logistics where high-value freight and risk are involved.
      I demand that TQL:
-Immediately provide a copy of the insurance policy that was charged and paid for
-Acknowledge its contractual obligation as the party that collected payment for said coverage
-Provide full transparency regarding communications with ******
-Deliver a plan for resolution within 5 business days
I have already filed formal complaints with the **** Attorney General, the **** Department of Insurance, and pursuing civil and legal action if this matter is not resolved promptly.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

my grievance with TQL extends beyond cargo liability and directly concerns the breach of contract, negligent misrepresentation, and deceptive practices related to the insurance coverage that was quoted, sold, and paid for as part of this transaction.
TQL accepted payment for additional insurance coverage beyond basic carrier liability.
At no time was I informed that this coverage was limited to an FPA policy excluding typical damage scenarios arising from mishandling or failure to properly secure cargo.
TQL failed to properly disclose the limitations of the insurance coverage at the time of sale, constituting negligent misrepresentation and a breach of your obligations to me as your customer.
Further, by accepting payment for insurance without providing a corresponding declaration page or confirming actual coverage in writing, TQL engaged in deceptive business practices under **** law.
      Accordingly, I respectfully demand:
A full refund of the insurance premium charged, OR
Immediate reimbursement for the loss amounting to $17,518.

The nonstop calls we have been receiving from TQL for over a year now are ridiculous. We have asked every time to be removed from their call list and we are not interested in doing business with them, yet the calls continue anywhere from 2 times a week up to multiple times a day. I just spoke with someone on Wednesday 3/5/25 and told them to stop calling us and was told that they would note the account to stop calling. We received another call today, 3/7/25. This time we were told that they are not able to remove companies from their call list. How is this not considered harassment?!

This company continues to make aggressive repetitive sales calls to my staff members, despite being told numerous times that should we need their services that we would call them for a quote, and to not call any of us again. Yesterday was the last straw when my colleague specifically told the representative to stop calling and take us off all their call lists, and was told that we would not be removed from their call list until at least 2 to 4 months' time...during which regular solicitation calls would continue! That is illegal in ******, anyone asked to remove you from a call list is to do so immediately, and we want these calls to stop. This is bordering on harassment.
